"After 65 years together, the day came when we knew Mom and Dad could no longer live alone in their home. Everyone we knew offered advice on how to choose an assisted living facility. We were told to visit every facility and then choose the one that felt the best. Heritage Green was our first stop, and our last. We found everything we were looking for in our first visit. From the beginning we were treated like extended family. Although professional, there was a warm familiarity in everyone we met.
"We had so many questions in the beginning and all were answered with the gentle reassurance that what seemed like a nightmare today, would soon feel 'normal.' It is actually better than 'normal.' Mom and Dad are no longer struggling with day-to-day life, but instead, are thriving in their new environment. Now, their days are filled with activities, music, laughter, and lots of hugs and individual attention.
"The dedication of the staff at Heritage Green to providing a clean, safe, and healthy life for their residents is without question. They understand our changing needs and are always willing to adjust to meet our needs. Mom and Dad are treated with the dignity they deserve and more importantly, they are nurtured.
Our family is no longer the 'new' family at Heritage Green. We no longer worry about making the right decision. We know we made the right one."

"My Mother was at a larger assisted living facility where she was not participating, skipping meals, and not feeling well much of the time. We decided a change was needed to hopefully break this cycle and improve her quality of life. Based on our research and recommendations, we selected Heritage Green. Moving to this one-floor facility with a smaller population where she receives more personalized attention has helped her outlook as she now participates in activities, generally feels better, and is in a better state of mind."
"The activities team keeps the residents informed of daily events and makes an effort to encourage participation. All staff members receive and respond to e-mail which helps with overall communication from medical questions or maintenance needs to general questions. Staff members set up twice-a-year meetings with family members which encourages open communication including staff member’s observations and candid family member feedback. The fantastic physical therapy team and family doctor are conveniently available in-house in addition to the resident nursing staff."
"We have been very pleased with Mom’s progress and know it is largely due to the kindness, care, and many smiles that remain a constant at Heritage Green."
